Karin Scherman, chartered physiotherapist in Malmö, Sweden, has finalized her master thesis “Is there evidence for an improvement of disability in patients with MS when applying vibrosfär?” The aim of this pilot-study was to evaluate the effect on gait, balance, endurance of lower limbs after 8 weeks of WBV treatment. Most patients improved the results of the tests as well as they had a very good experience of the treatment and felt an improved physical and mental well-being. The study is in Swedish only.
